Give Form to the Formless:   Your love is literally invisible, but the expression of your love is often very visible.   A ceremony is a way to give symbolic  form to that which has no form.   It's also a way of altering the universal energy.

A Mini Theater Piece:   Essentially, a wedding ceremony is a mini theater piece in which you as bride and groom publicly declare your intention to be husband or wife in front of your community of family and friends and ask your guests to acknowledge, support, and celebrate your union.   It's where your publicly declare your intention and your mutual commitment,   It's  where your publicly offer your partner the gift of your  love,  and where you accept that reciprocal gift from your partner.
